Terms of Service
1.Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://reinostudios.com/ (the "Site"), operated by Reino Studios ("Reino Studios," "we," "us," or "our"), including the Achievement Wall and all pages, text, images and other content published on it (together, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, available at https://reinostudios.com/privacy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right you have under mandatory law that cannot be limited or excluded by agreement — including consumer protection rights in your country of residence. Where a provision of these Terms conflicts with such a right, that right prevails and the rest of these Terms continue to apply.
2.What the Service Is
The Site is an informational website about Reino Studios and the games it makes. It is published as a set of static pages. It has no user accounts, no registration, no forms and no facility for uploading or submitting anything.
The Site consists of:
- Information about Reino Studios as a studio.
- Information about our games, including BON: Block of Neon — descriptions, screenshots, modes and specifications.
- A published guide to block puzzle games, offered as general information about the genre.
- The Achievement Wall, a curated page featuring players who have reached a milestone in BON: Block of Neon (section 4).
- Links to our official social media profiles and to the BON game itself.
The Service is provided free of charge. We do not sell anything through the Site, do not take payments through it, and do not operate a subscription of any kind on it.
The Site is not the game. BON: Block of Neon is a separate product governed by its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, at https://reinostudios.com/bon/terms and https://reinostudios.com/bon/privacy. Playing the game is governed by those documents, not by these Terms.
3.Eligibility
The Site publishes general information and is open to anyone to read. We do not knowingly feature a person under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live) on the Achievement Wall without the consent of a parent or guardian.
If you contact us asking to be featured, you confirm that you are old enough to do so under the law where you live, or that a parent or guardian has agreed on your behalf.
4.The Achievement Wall
The Achievement Wall at https://reinostudios.com/wall features players who have reached a qualifying milestone in BON: Block of Neon. It is curated entirely by hand by the studio.
There is no submission form and no way to upload anything to the Site. If you would like to be considered, you contact us directly — by email at reinostudioses@gmail.com or through one of our official social media profiles — and send evidence of your achievement, such as a screenshot.
4.1What sending us your achievement means
By sending us material and asking to be featured, you confirm that:
- The achievement is genuinely yours, achieved through ordinary play, without cheats, exploits, modified clients, automation or manipulated images.
- You own or otherwise have the right to send us the material, and sending it to us does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
- You agree that we may publish the display name you give us, the achievement you reached, and an official certificate bearing that name, on the Site and on our official social media profiles.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the material you send for the sole purposes of verifying the achievement and preparing and publishing your entry as described above. You keep ownership of everything you send. We do not acquire your material for any other use, and we will not sell it, license it onward or use it in paid advertising.
4.2Our discretion, and your right to withdraw
Featuring on the Wall is at our sole discretion and is not a prize, a competition entry or an offer. We may decline any submission, and we may decline without giving a reason. We may also remove any entry, at any time, including where we later have reason to believe an achievement was not genuine.
You may ask us to remove your entry at any time, for any reason or none, by emailing reinostudioses@gmail.com. We will remove it from the Site at the next deployment. Because the Site is public, third parties such as search engines may have cached the page; we can remove our copy but not theirs.
4.3Certificates
Where we issue a certificate, it is a commemorative image produced by Reino Studios recognising an achievement in a video game. It is not a qualification, a credential, a financial instrument, or a token of any kind, it has no monetary value, and it confers no rights other than the pleasure of having earned it.
The Site does not grant, unlock or deliver anything inside BON: Block of Neon. Any in-game content is governed solely by the game and its own terms.
5.Intellectual Property
The Site and its contents — including the Reino Studios name and mark, BON: Block of Neon, all text, artwork, screenshots, layout, design, and the underlying code — are owned by Reino Studios or used with permission, and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.
You may:
- Read, browse and privately enjoy the Site.
- Link to any page on the Site.
- Quote short extracts with attribution, where permitted by applicable copyright exceptions such as quotation, reporting or criticism.
- Save or print a copy of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy for your own records — the Site provides a button to do exactly that.
You may not, without our prior written permission:
- Copy, republish, redistribute or mirror substantial parts of the Site.
- Use the Reino Studios or BON names, marks or artwork in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation or authorship where none exists.
- Present our content as your own, or remove or obscure any attribution.
- Use the Site’s content to train a machine learning model where doing so requires our permission under applicable law, or where we have reserved that right by machine-readable means.
Third-party names mentioned on the Site — including other games referred to by name for comparison — are the trade marks of their respective owners. Referring to them is descriptive comparison and does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from those owners.
The Site includes a measure that discourages casual copying of on-screen text. It is a deterrent, not a technical protection measure, it is not a security control, and we make no claim that it prevents copying. It does not limit any right you have under an applicable copyright exception, and nothing in these Terms prohibits you from accessing the Site with assistive technology.
6.Acceptable Use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its hosting infrastructure, or any system or network connected to it.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by denial-of-service attacks or by placing an unreasonable load on it through automated requests.
- Probe or scan for vulnerabilities, or circumvent any security or access control measure.
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law or regulation.
- Send us material that is unlawful, that infringes anyone’s rights, or that you know to be false — including fabricated evidence of an achievement.
- Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your connection with any person or organisation.
Well-intentioned security research is welcome. If you believe you have found a security issue, please tell us at reinostudioses@gmail.com before disclosing it publicly, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it. We will not pursue action against research carried out in good faith, without harming users or data, and reported to us promptly.
Ordinary, well-behaved crawling by search engines and other automated agents is permitted, in accordance with the Site’s robots.txt.
7.Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at https://reinostudios.com/privacy explains what data is involved when you use the Site. In short: the Site has no forms and asks you for nothing, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking. The Privacy Policy also explains the two things that do happen automatically — hosting access logs, and the fact that your browser fetches the Site’s fonts from Google — and how to avoid the latter if you prefer.
The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
8.Third-Party Services and Links
The Site links to the playable BON: Block of Neon game and to our official profiles on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit and X. These are ordinary hyperlinks; the Site embeds no third-party players, feeds or widgets.
Once you follow such a link you are using someone else’s service, subject to their terms and privacy policy. We do not control those services, do not endorse their content by linking to them, and are not responsible for them.
The Site is delivered by third-party infrastructure — hosting and a font service — as described in the Privacy Policy. Their availability is outside our control.
9.Availability and Changes to the Site
We provide the Site on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that any defect will be corrected. We may change, suspend, restrict or discontinue the Site or any part of it — including the Achievement Wall — at any time, without notice and without liability to you.
Information on the Site, including anything said about our games, their features and their availability on particular platforms, is provided for general information and may change. Statements about future releases are not promises.
10.Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
The block puzzle guide and any other explanatory content on the Site is general information about a video game genre. It is offered in good faith and reviewed for accuracy, but it is not professional advice of any kind and we do not warrant that it is complete or error-free.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
11.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Reino Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site — whether based in contract, tort, statute or otherwise, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damage.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Site and these Terms shall not exceed one hundred euros (EUR 100). The Site is provided free of charge; this limit reflects that.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and liability for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
12.Indemnity
If you are acting for purposes relating to your trade, business, craft or profession, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reino Studios against any claim, loss, liability and reasonable legal cost arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or material you send us that infringes a third party’s rights.
This section does not apply to you if you are using the Site as a consumer.
13.Termination
There is no account to terminate. You may stop using the Site at any time simply by leaving it.
We may remove any Achievement Wall entry, and may restrict access to the Site where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Site, its visitors or a third party. Sections 5, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 16 survive any termination.
14.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top always shows the current version, and every change is publicly recorded in the Site’s source repository.
Where a change materially affects your rights, we will make it clear on the Site before or when it takes effect. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to them, please discontinue use of the Site.
15.Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (country), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Georgia.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own courts and to the protection of your own mandatory consumer law, that right is unaffected by the paragraph above.
Before pursuing formal proceedings, we ask that you first contact us at reinostudioses@gmail.com — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
16.General Provisions
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reino Studios regarding the Site, and replace all previous versions of these Terms.
- Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
- No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, provided your rights under these Terms are not reduced.
- No Third-Party Rights. These Terms do not create any right enforceable by anyone who is not a party to them.
- Language. These Terms are published in English. Any translation is provided for convenience, and the English version governs in the event of a discrepancy.
- Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
